Missy in New Jersey I think this web site is really fun. I love the drawing lessons. But I think that you should make like a drawing studio for kids inside the website that you could experiment with paint, markers, finger paint, crayon, and drawing. We could make a flip book or just sketch. I think that this would be a big hit and atract more people to come to your web site!!!!!!

Anna from Brooklyn, NYC Hey Mark! Your show is really COOL! I enjoy watching it when I have the time, and when I do I really enjoy it. I would want to obtain some of your books and practice drawing at home. Since I started wtching your show, m friends say that I really can draw weird space aliens and other stuff really good. Joe D in Indiana Commander Mark rules! I loved watching The Secret City back in the old days...you should wear the suit with all the markers and pencils and blunts all over it again...The Secret City absolutely RULED! It was the coolest when you drew HUGE planets and stuff with tons of little aliens and homes and spaceships all over them! Commander Mark rules! When I went to High School, we still used to watch your show on reruns all the time! It was blazin' good...man we must have watched your show 420 times just in one year! Go Commander Mark! ART ATTACK!!

Candy C. in Virgina I am 6. I like coloring and watching show. It is cool to watch. My sister likes it too. I like the website too. It is cool. Bye Bye!

Rachael, Columbia, MD Hi Mark! And all those who support kids & art!! I looked through your Draw Squad book that my sister and I have had for years yesterday, and again today! The whole thing! I love your sketches, quirky comments, creativity, and humor. I especially love all your suggestions for art in the classroom! Reading them brought floods of memories of my AWESOME elementary school, Northfield [in Ellicott City], and all the happiness and creativity that place brought. (And continues to instill in kids.) Northfield is what school is all about: learning, interacting, excitement, anticipation, creativity (you know, the English language really needs to get some synonymns for "creativity;" I'm not sure how many more times I can say it in this message without sounding terrible). I miss that in school; so many teachers don't seem to be aware of what learning is supposed to be like. Thanks for spreading your passion, funness (not a word they taught me at Northfield:) ), encouragement, and knowledge!
I read in the book that you visit colleges... Think you'd like to visit University of Maryland, College Park? That's where I go now. And -- you might find this interesting -- UMCP has an arts festival every spring (OK, so this past one was the 2nd annual... but, notice the word "annual") called Art Attack, dedicated to the arts & the students. Activites include student dance, instrumenttal, vocal, and cultural performances, art activities & crafts, local and other bands... well, to know best what Art Attack is, look it up in a UMCP website. Maybe you'd like to visit College Park for Art Attack 2000...?
OK, so I forgot one of the reasons why I wrote: what to do with all those drawings -- all that paper? Especially class projects, the mountains of artwork the kids work on so hard, and most especially on the group / whole-class projects? [Save the trees... :) ] Thanks!

Steven in Philadelphia, PA Your show is the bomb [slang]. I enjoy watching and drawing to your show. Can you have more shows when you use lizards for cartoon characters. Thank you for your time. [STEVEN]

Jorge G., NY Your show is pretty cool. I love it because every time I see it I learn new things. Could you please draw more pictures like action figure and then add something from your imagination. I love to draw but I want to learn how to draw real people. Could you tell me how?

Angela in Brooklyn, N.Y. Your drawing lessons are great! They look so real when it's done. I love this program! I watch it whenever I could. You give me so many ideas how to draw better. Now, I draw better than ever because of your help of ideas and the renaissance words you give each day! I think you are the best art teacher anyone could have! Thank you for all the hints and fascinating thoughts.

Dan from Wisconsin I'm a big fan of your show, and watch as often as I can even though I'm 20. I never was a fan of art until I began watching your show a few years ago. Now I've created some of my own comic book characters and love showing them to people. Thanks Mark.

Larry Guthrie, Peekskill, NY Thumbs up to you for being so enthusiastic about drawing and enriching the lives of the children. (Even the ones like me that are 31 years old.) Nelson A. C., Philadelphia, PA Dear Mark, Your 3-D drawing lessons are unique, different, and absolutely workable! Anyone can learn from your system, if they will just pick up a pencil and try it. They will be hooked from that moment on....because I was! Keep up the fabulous work! The world should learn to draw. There would be an immediate decrease in crime.
Learning every day (one new drawing), Nelson A. and Brose C.

Donna Douglas, Mississauga I teach grade 7 and 8 Visual Arts in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. I have recommended your books to all of my students and to my stafff members. Ron H., Shoshoni, Wyoming Mark, I've been watching your show lately (mainly bacause I'm between semesters right now!) and I must say that your show is very impressive. I am currently studying to be an art teacher and have been trying to make my living as an artist (it's rough out there!). I hope that when I finally get my degree I can be the kind of teacher children can relate to. Thanks for being an encouragement to me! Ron H., Central Wyoming College.

Kris M., Trenton NJ I just want to say the show is incredible and it is a good way for me to keep my art sharp over the summer. I watch the show every day and think it is a good way to get kids to use their imaginations and I must say I get art attacks 10 times a day or more after watching your show. I am a really talented artist but I can never seem to keep my drawlings straight even if the paper is straight or slanted. That is one of my problems to making a really great picture and I was wondering if you could show a few tips in the future so I could get better at it. Thanks.

Tracy F., Redbud, IL Howdy! I just wanted to say that your show really inspires me to draw. Yesterday I had an art attack that lasted 5 hours!!!!! Isn't that amazing, I'll be sending you what I drew. I'm not telling you cuz I want it to be a BIG suprise!! Babye! -Tracy F.
